Thank you for your interest in my work! First, we’ll discuss some details about your project. Should we decide that we’re a good match for a collaboration, I’ll provide you with a contract and/or invoice. There’s a 50% upfront non-refundable deposit, and the final payment will be due upon delivery.

The price will depend on the complexity of the subject matter, artwork dimensions, and completion time. The price that I quote you will apply only to you and the subject matter originally mentioned. If subject matter or completion time change, the price may be subject to change.

Sure! I’m not usually comfortable sharing progress photos, but I can let you know where I am in the process. I might reach out to you in case I need more feedback about the direction of the painting. I value and appreciate your honesty. If there’s something that you’re not 100% satisfied with or the direction that I’m going, please tell me immediately so I can correct the trajectory.

Any work that I create, commissioned or otherwise, is copyrighted—I maintain all rights to the image of the commissioned painting. No reproductions can be made without my authorization, and I can go over details in the contract. I will share with you a photo of the final piece. I may use the image of the painting to advertise online and on social media. When sharing photos of my work online or on social media, I ask that you please credit me (@hemlocker_studio). Thank you!
